In 1963, President John F. Kennedy looked at a crowd of people and said, “By the end the decade, we will put a man on the moon and safely return him.”

That one sentence is a great example of casting vision.  It was super-specific.  It had a deadline.  And, it inspired people to take action.  Personally, I think the “safely return him” part was really important.

But casting vision and communicating mission are two different things.  Watch the video below to learn the difference.
